The status of accreditation indicates that Hope meets WSCUC's Accreditation Standards, demonstrates Core Commitments to Institutional Capacity and Educational Effectiveness, and devotes itself to periodic self-evaluation and ongoing institutional improvement. WSCUC is one of six regional associations that accredit public and private schools, colleges, and universities in the United States. The Western region covers institutions in California, Hawaii, Guam, and the Pacific Basin. Hope International University, California, will be hosting a comprehensive accreditation visit by a team of evaluators from the Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE) on April 22-23, 2025, to determine its compliance with the ABHE standards for the programmatic accreditation of ±á±õ±«â€™s Pacific Christian College of Ministry and Biblical Studies.
