In the first NAIA Division I Men’s Basketball Coaches’ Top 25 Poll of the 2014-2015 regular season, the HIU Royals are ranked number 3 – the highest such ranking in HIU athletics history. The Royals moved up seven places from their preseason ranking and received three out of nine first place votes. With a current record of 9-0, Hope is one of three remaining undefeated teams. Cal State San Marcos took the top spot with five first place votes.
This poll was determined by a panel of head coaches representing each of the conferences as well as other unaffiliated groups. The second regular-season Top 25 will be announced on January 6th. To view the complete poll results, .
