Pre-Health Tracks
The Â鶹´«Ã½ Medical Scholars Program is an early-assurance program
that offers an exclusive opportunity for exceptional SLU students to gain experience
and connections with the SLU School of Medicine. Interested students can apply to
this program during their senior year of high school by Dec. 1 of their application
cycle. Current students may apply to the program at the end of their freshman year
at SLU.
Â鶹´«Ã½ has an Early Acceptance Program agreement with Lake Erie College
of Medicine. This program grants selected qualified students provisional early acceptance
to Lake Erie College of Medicine's College of Osteopathic Medicine, School of Dental
Medicine or School of Podiatric Medicine.
Students may apply for this Early Acceptance Program opportunity as high school
seniors or current SLU undergraduates with less than 60 credit hours completed at
the time of their application to Lake Erie College of Medicine. All SLU undergraduate students who apply for medical schools at the end of their junior
year and meet our medical school’s matriculating class average GPA and MCAT score
at the time of completing their application are guaranteed an interview with the SLU
