Health Care Ethics, Minor

Â鶹´«Ã½'s minor in health care ethics allows students to examine some of the ethical questions that arise in the complex health care system.

SLU students will discuss the definition of death, how to allocate donated organs, what is considered a disease and when to withdraw life-sustaining treatment.

Students pursuing the minor in health care ethics must take Foundations in Clinical Health Care Ethics (±á°ä·¡Ìý2010) before or at the same time as any 4000-level courses. Two of the five courses for the minor must be at the 3000 or 4000 level. Students may take one elective outside of the center.
