09/06/19- The SPAN 1200 Accelerated Review of Spanish for the Health Professions class took a field trip to Casa de Salud, a non-profit health clinic that delivers services to new immigrants and refugees, on September 6, 2019.
09/03/19- Faculty member Elizabeth Blake, Ph.D., discusses her new book, which examines the work of Fyodor Mikhailovich Dostoevsky, a piercing social critic, philosopher and giant of Russian literature.
08/01/19- Stacey Vandas and Olivia Mikus received awards from the Robert Clive Roach Fellowship in French, and Ramiro Gutiérrez-León received an award from the Mazza Graduate Fellowship in Spanish.

11/28/17- On November 3-4, 2017, German faculty and students from Â鶹´«Ã½'s and Webster U's German program participated in the annual German Immersion Weekend (Sprachwochenende) at SLU's Lay Center near Louisiana, MO.
11/28/17- The Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures received funding from the College of Arts and Sciences to hold a symposium on the Russian Revolutions of 1917.
