Guest artist Kathryn Bentley recently directed a successful production of Lorraine Hansberry's "A Raisin in the Sun."  Performances ran October 3-5, 2024 at The Grandel.  The cast featured local favorite Anita Michelle Jackson as Lena Younger, through a special agreement with Actors' Equity Assocation.

Associate Professor of Music and Vocal Coordinator Stephanie Tennill recently appeared in "Into the Woods" at Union Avenue Opera. Professor Tennill played Jack's Mother in the company of esteemed musicians and actors.

Visual and Performing Arts Coordinator Sara Rae Womack made her directorial debut in May 2024 with the classic musical "Anything Goes" at Kirkwood Theatre Guild.  Womack invited sophomore Theatre student Colleen Dundon to serve as Assistant Director.

An innovative book developed by Stephanie Hirschman, an ESL educator in Lewes, England, and Â鶹´«Ã½ Studio Art faculty, Amy Alton Bautz, to activate learning through haptic and meditative coloring exercises. It is a remarkable and unique use of art to support language acquisition.
