Health Advisory: Coronavirus

Responding to COVID-19

Throughout the pandemic, our actions have been guided by the University’s strategic objectives, our Jesuit values, data and consensus science, and the expectations of our SLU community. Today, we continue to review the most recent science, as well as consult with faculty, staff and students.

Dashboard (St. Louis Campus)

As one component of scaling back our COVID-19 protocols, the April 11, 2023 dashboard update will be the final update. All past COVID-19 dashboards will be archived and available online, but will no longer be updated.

Reporting Positive Cases and Exposures

For now, we will maintain reporting and contact tracing processes intended to prevent widespread COVID-19 outbreaks and protect the most vulnerable in our community. If you test positive for COVID-19, continue to follow the University’s required reporting steps and the instructions you receive from our contact tracing team. Our contact tracing team will advise you on isolation procedures. Do not return to work or classes until you are cleared to do so.

We are no longer require testing of close contacts (i.e., those who have been exposed to someone with COVID-19) as part of our contact tracing process. We encourage those who have been exposed to get tested on the timeline recommended by our contact tracing team. If a potential cluster of cases is identified, testing may be required for that specific group in order to reduce the likelihood of a widespread outbreak on campus.
