Hope International University’s College of Education's vision is to equip professional educators for lives of service and leadership through the advancement of biblically centered study and practice. To that end, our team of professional educators are dedicated to preparing future teachers and administrators for careers in education.

We are proud of the program that we offer at HIU. HIU graduates have distinguished themselves as teachers and administrators in both local public and private schools as well as throughout the United States and the world.

The HIU College of Education is notable for:

  • Small classes taught by outstanding faculty, many of whom are veteran practitioners in Orange County public and private schools
  • One-on-one mentoring for all students in both HIU’s teacher and administrative credential programs
  • Partnership opportunities for student teaching and administrative fieldwork with the finest school systems in Southern California
  • Courses designed specifically to align with our students’ time including evening, weekend and online courses
  • International student opportunities including the study of English as a Second Language.

We enthusiastically welcome you into our HIU family!  We pledge to work with you in a nurturing and collaborative way and to provide you with the tools necessary to become an outstanding servant-leader, professional, and difference-maker in the public or private school setting.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.
