Valerie De Wandel is a Â鶹´«Ã½ J.D/Ph.D student finishing her Ph.D. in health care ethics. In law school, she served as a lead editor of the Saint Louis University Journal for Health Law and Policy and as a legal intern. She is a licensed attorney in the state of Missouri. Her passion resides in bioethics, with her research interests focusing on the overlap between law and bioethics. She has a primary focus on psychiatric patient rights and care.
