Pediatric Rheumatology Fellowship
The mission of the Â鶹´«Ã½ rheumatology fellowship training program is to produce physicians who:
- Are clinically competent in the field of rheumatology
- Are capable of working in a variety of settings
- Possess habits of life-long learning to build upon their knowledge, skills and professionalism
Fellows who successfully complete this program will be fully trained and equipped to function as clinical rheumatologists, clinician educators, or clinician scientists, depending on the individual career goals of the individuals.
Pediatric Rheumatology Overview
The Division of Adult and Pediatric Rheumatology at Â鶹´«Ã½ School of Medicine provides care at both SSM Health Â鶹´«Ã½ Hospital and SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital. We have fellowships in both adult and pediatric rheumatology and we are uniquely situated to provide combined medicine-pediatrics fellowship training. Both programs are accredited by the ACGME.

- Systemic lupus erythematosus on interferon signatures
- Systemic Lupus Erythematosus on Syk and Immune Complexes
- Juvenile idiopathic arthritis on isotypes of anti-CCP antibodies
- Rheumatoid factors and glycosylation

We are active participants in the Childhood Arthritis and Research Alliance (CARRA) network and actively participate in clinical trials.
