Emergency Medicine Application
Â鶹´«Ã½â€™s emergency medicine residency teaches fundamental skills, knowledge and humanistic qualities that constitute the foundation of emergency medicine practice.
Application Process
The emergency medicine residency program at Â鶹´«Ã½ exclusively uses the (ERAS).
The following materials must be transmitted to us through ERAS:
- CAF (Common Application Form)
- Dean's letter
- Medical school transcript
- Up to four letters of recommendation (with at least one from an emergency medicine physician)*
- Copy of certified transcript of board scores
- Personal statement
Each resident's application is reviewed and selected candidates will be invited to interview mid-November through late January.
The emergency medicine residency program at Â鶹´«Ã½ participates in the National Residency Matching Process. Final selection of candidates who interview at Â鶹´«Ã½ is made following the interview process with entry to the match scheduled the second week in February.
*Please be aware that emergency medicine faculty writing letters of recommendations should use the Council of Residency Directors (CORD) Standardized Letter of Evaluation (SLOE) form. This can be downloaded from .
